She was bored and feeling a little twitchy. And it was the weirdest impulse for her to go to Hannibal. He could always settle her head.

She rolled up and parked and saw Eliot coming out of the building and she knew he'd been in to talk to Hannibal.

She should talk to Hannibal.

But heat boiled in her belly.

Ivy got out, car still on, and pointed at him.

"You!" she accused. "We need to talk."

Eliot didn't look his best. He'd ended up talking about Quentin of all things, and so that certainly didn't help along with his stress over what was going on with Klaus.

And seeing Ivy, looking at him like that, didn't help. He tried to walk past her. "I don't need to hear it from you."

"Oh, yeah you do, buster," she said and a vine shot out of her har and wrapped around him the stop him.

She was just a little too fast, and he couldn't get out a spell before his hands were bound.

"Okay fine," he snapped, struggling slightly. "Yell at me."

"A collar, Eliot!? Really!?" Ivy barked. "What in the fuck are you doing?"

"What?" yelped Eliot, genuinely shocked. "What the fuck are you talking about?"

"Don't be stupid. Klaus saw you," she said. Of course she believed Klaus. Why on earth would he lie about that?

"Klaus was grieving and you played housepet the whole time he was gone? You're a prick," she said, then spit on the ground,

All the color drained from Eliot's face. "Klaus saw me? Klaus saw me what?"

"He saw Robbie take the collar off when you got out of the car, dumbass," she replied. Then paused. "You didn't know? He saw the whole thing. The kiss. All of it."

Well, Eliot no longer had to speculate about why Klaus left. It was Eliot's fault after all.

"Let me go," he said miserably.

The vine loosened and retreated.

"Do you know he's been crying in his bedroom at my house since then? When he's not high, and even sometimes while he's high. You broke his fucking heart, you piece of shit," she barked viciously. She could see Eliot felt terrible about it, but she was certain not terrible enough.

The words slammed into Eliot's chest and he suddenly felt like he couldn't breathe. He took a couple of steps backward so that he could lean against the wall of the building.

"I had no idea," he managed to say. "No idea he knew how I spent the weekend, I..." The fucking collar. Christ. "He told me he didn't care." Though even as he said it, he knew that he'd known it wasn't completely true. He could tell that Robbie bothered Klaus, even if Eliot didn't understand why.

"Yeah? Well he does. For whatever reason, he loves you, Eliot. That was a shitty thing to do. If you're going to leave him, just do it," she snapped.

She'd promised Klaus she wouldn't hurt him. Or Robbie.

But, fuck, she wanted to.

"Leave him? Why would I leave him? He's the one who fucking left," Eliot snapped back. Because he felt like utter shit right now, and clearly all she wanted was for him to feel worse. And maybe he deserved it, but he wouldn't let her question his feelings for Klaus.

"Can you blame him, Fido?"

She took a deep breath to calm down. She'd already fucked things up using her powers with Alcuin, she couldn't take the look of disappointment in Hannibal's eyes again.

"You've got to cut that guy off, Eliot. Fix your marriage."

"Yeah?" Eliot pulled his phone out of his pocket and marched angrily over to Ivy.

He pulled up his text history with Robbie. Days of texts from Robbie, each more pleading than the next, and all of them ignored. Then Eliot pulled up his text history with Klaus. Where are you? When are you coming back? Unanswered by Klaus.

"If Klaus wants to work our our marriage then maybe he should consider talking to me."

"Get in the car," she ordered, pointing at the little green Fiat.

"Unless he sobered up and went out, he's still in bed. You two are fixing this. Now. Fix it or end it. This is bullshit. Get. In. The. Car."

"I am not getting in a car with you," Eliot said evenly. "And I'm also not ambushing Klaus. If you want to play mediator, fine. I'll drop everything and show up wherever he wants me to." Which had already been true.

"God, you're such a bitch. I sure wouldn't put up with your shit," she said.

"The only reason you're not in a coma is because Klaus loves you. Stop texting him and come to my house. If you want it to work you're gonna have to find your balls. You can't just text and give up."

[eliot_thespectacular]

"And if the conversation doesn't go in a way you approve of I'm going to end up buried in your flower bed," said Eliot irritably. "No thanks."

"Eliot, you're about to be in my flower bed either way," she said evenly.

"If you're going to sit on your ass and wait for Klaus to crawl back to you? Honey, I'll make sure that won't happen. He can find someone who doesn't fuck him over."

"Is that what Klaus told you? That I fucked him over?" Eliot couldn't help but be a little hurt by that. He did feel like shit because of Robbie, he thought it was a lot more complicated than that.

"No, dumbass. I'm saying you fucked him over!" Ivy shouted angrily. Vines burst from her hair, writhing and snapping. They shot toward Eliot and wrapped round him, head to toe. The secure cocoon returned to Ivy.

"Don't wiggle and she won't crush you," she hissed before Eliot found himself bound, gagged, and smashed into the trunk of her Fiat.

This was ending one way or another. She'd take him home, strap them both down, sober Klaus up if she had to. And then they'd fucking talk. By God, she'd make them talk.

Eliot was pissed. Pissed and honestly a little scared. Because she was clearly out of her damn mind.

And fuck magic and how it required his fucking hands to do it. Once in the trunk he tried to get his hands free, to no avail.

Ivy drove straight home, though not carefully. Eliot paid the price.

She let him out and she, the vines, and the cocoon entered the house and locked the door.

"Klaus, sweetie? C'mere. I brought you a surprise."

As she spoke, the vines deposited Eliot into a chair and uncoiled from his shoulders up.

Klaus was painting his toe-nails, having just gotten out of a really nice and hot bath. His hair was done up in a towel and another towel was wrapped around his body. It covered him poorly, especially since he was sitting with his leg up so he could reach his toes.

When he heard Ivy, he quickly stopped and made himself decent. After the Incident, he certainly didn't want his sister to see any more of him than strictly required.

"Yeah, you bought sweet-"

And it was as if he only now realized how much he missed him. He wanted to rush over and hug him and kiss him.

But he stopped himself. "You're a doll, Ivy, but I don't want anyone to come here when clearly they don't want to be here," he said, a little sadly.
