Klaus was going to have to talk to Eliot eventually, but for now he was safe and sound at her house, doing his church shit and all that. He'd gone to some guy's house the second the man had called. Ivy watched him go and then got dressed to go out.

Today she decided to dress a bit more relaxed in skin tight jeans and a chic tshirt she'd thrifted. Stolen. She'd stolen it.

The doorman knew her now and let her up. All she wanted to do was grab a bag of some clothes. Yeah, she had laundry, but she couldn't handle Klaus's limited wardrobe.

Surely, Eliot would let her take some clothes.

She knocked on the door, her wide brimmed hat, large sunnies and a trendy mask with a sequin rose on it hiding her face from the cameras of London. It wasn't like she could really hide, but it didn't hurt to try.

"Good lord, how many people live here?" she asked with flat surprise.

"Nevermind," followed immediately. "I'm Ivy. I'm here to get some of Klaus's clothes."

Fin frowned, looking her over. "You don't look like one of Klaus' Jesus friends. Look, Eliot's not here, and I'm not going to let you in his room while he's out. ...No offense," he added belatedly.

"You don't even have to let me in. Could you just give me anything else for him to wear so I can wash his clothes?" she asked. Then she heard a baby and peeked past the man.

Fin stepped in the way of her line of sight, clearly protective of the little one.

"I suppose I can pack a few things for him, though it would be better if he just came home and talked to Eliot. He's gutted, you know? You should pass that on."

Eventually he took a step back, allowing her into the flat.

"Klaus isn't doing so hot, either," she replied. Once inside with the door closed, she pulled off her glasses and mask. She did a decent job concealing that her skin was a rich, verdant green.

Fin tensed, taking a step back and putting one hand up. Magic crackled in the air, and it visibly surrounded Luna, protecting the baby. He didn't even know how he was doing it, it was just pure parental instinct.

"No fae are welcome here," he said calmly, assuming the worst.

"Okay? Super. Good to know," she said. "Do I need to, like, fight you to get some clothes? I mean I guess I could go buy him some..."

This was spectacular. Klaus was surrounded by a bunch of God damned heroes all over the place. Two magicians...fabulous. Of course it wouldn't be the first time she'd stuck with someone with friends who were dangerous.

Fin held her gaze a long beat, then lowered his hand. Just keep your distance," he said quietly, heading off towards Eliot's room.

Luna, for her part, touched the magic keeping her safe, giggling when it twinkled and started to hum a lullaby.

Fin returned a beat later with a pile of clothes, only to vanish into his room with them. A beat later he returned with a duffel bag he'd gotten at an event, the clothes carefully packed, along with some unopened toiletries he'd gotten on a flight. Things Klaus might need.

"Here," he said, holding out the bag. "And tell him- Tell Klaus if he needs money or help or... Just, you know, anything- Um, he has my number, he can text me."

"He's fine, m'dude," she said as she took the bag. "He has his own room, I drive him to church. He's doing as well as can be expected, I guess. He sure loves his husband."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Yeah, well, Eliot isn't fine," Fin replied. "He misses him, alright?"

"I keep telling him to talk to him," she stressed. "But I'm not going to drag him home by the ear and force him. He'll man up soon, I'm sure."

"I dunno, Klaus seems to have a real aversion to conflict- Or anything that might be less than fun," Fin frowned, not meaning to be hard on Klaus, but genuinely worried about the pair.

"Valid," she agreed with a shrug. "He's going through a lot, though, y'know? I keep waiting for him to come home high. He's doing good, but it's a lot. Getting clean. That whole dead people thing. And something about cheating on his husband with some musician. It's all a lot. And, yeah, he's not conflict-y."

"We're all fucked up, Some of us don't have the luxury of running away from our troubles though," Fin said flatly.

"Uhh..."

Ivy circled her face with a graceful finger and finally pointed.

"Tell me about it," she smirked.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"You're really not fae? You can't glamour yourself flesh tone?" Fin asked, looking a bit confused, and perhaps doubtful.

He hesitated a beat, then let his magic consume him a little more, exposing his sharper and slightly more fragile fae features.

"No, not fae," she insisted. "I'm a botanist."

She let that sit for just a beat.

"There was an accident."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Oh, fuck, sorry," he replied. "I just... There's a lot of magic around here. And pretty and green isn't uncommon with fae," he explained.

"Should I take that as a compliment...?" Ivy asked.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"You've clearly never spent time around fae," Fin replied, shaking his head. "Look, um- Just tell Klaus we all miss him, yeah?

[poison_isley]

"Yeah, okay," she agreed, fussing with her mask to get it back on. She fussed with it, making sure it covered as much skin as possible.

"Thanks for getting me some clothes, uh, Fin? You're Luna's dad? Klaus...talks a lot."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Yeah. ... Though he hasn't mentioned you. I thought he must be with Aaron," Fin replied.

[poison_isley]

"He was at the church for like a night or two, but they're fucking creepy, so I dragged him home," she explained.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"... Right, and you're Klaus' bff he just forgot to mention?" Fin pressed.

[poison_isley]

"It wouldn't be the first time someone kept knowing me a secret," she shrugged.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Uh- Okay," Fin replied, not sure what that meant. "Well, um- That should get him through a week at least. ...Should I tell Eliot where he is?"

"If you want. I mean, don't tell him if he's going to get mad at Klaus for crashing in my spare bed. He seems kind of wound a little tight," she said.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Yeah, that's probably because he got sacked from his job thanks to Klaus' musical lover," Fin replied. "Whatever, I'll tell him he's with a friend."

"Yeah...that's just weird," she said. She fussed with the bag, moving it from one hand to another.

"But he says it's no biggie."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"I'm pretty sure Klaus could literally be on fire and he'd say 'no biggie'," Fin pointed out.

"Valid," she nodded, laughing just a little. "He's pretty chill about most stuff."

[prince_of_nymphs]

Fin thought that was an understatement, but said nothing.

"Anyway, I'm just happy to hear he's okay. I was worried. ...Take care of him, yeah?"

"That's the plan," she smiled. "Thanks for these. If I can get his clothes in the wash and him in the shower, I'll call it a win. I've got some experience with heartbreak."

Heartbreak in psychopaths, but Fin didn't need to hear that part.

Fin nodded, walking her to the door.

At the door, Ivy paused.

"Do you think Eliot wants to work it out?"

[prince_of_nymphs]

"I'm certain," Fin replied. "For better or worse, right?"

[poison_isley]

Ivy nodded.

"I'll kick him in the ass to come home then," she promised, covering herself again before entering the lift.
