"Then come on, babe," she grinned and dragged him out of the party. "I know a place."

Once they were alone in the corridor, she let her scent erupt. With no other students around, she could focus her attention entirely on Eliot. She noted every single reaction. She was going to have to write this all up.

"Who's Margo?" Ivy asked, putting her arm around him to guide him home.

He leaned against her. "My best friend. She's fabulous. You remind me of her. Beautiful and ruthless."

"No cap, who's hotter? Me, right?" Ivy asked, chatting happily as if she hadn't just done what she did.

A little gaslighting never hurt. She'd mastered that skill a while ago.

"Actually I think what would be the hottest ever would be you fucking her," Eliot said. "She's usually into guys but I think she'd be up for it."

"You're beautiful," Eliot said sincerely. "Honestly if you want to fuck I wouldn't object. I didn't fuck Margo, but she was my best friend."

"Wouldn't you rather bang a friend?" she asked, looking at him to take in his colour and how large his pupils were.

"Already did," Eliot said, a bit morosely. "Me, Margo, Quentin. Fucked everything up."

"Why? What happened?" she asked curiously. Any cautionary tale would be helpful because she had no intention of fucking things up with her babes.

"Quentin had a girlfriend," said Eliot. "Which was a total disaster. But also after it was just... awkward. We'd been high on emotion magic."

"Ah, I see," she said. "Sorry it got awk, baby. That's shit."

Her palm got a bit damp as she kept him just drugged enough to stay off balance.

"It didn't help that I had a huge crush on Quentin," Eliot added. "God, it was good... even just kissing him. Magic And then after he wouldn't even look at me."

"So what did you do?" she asked as they turned the corner and entered his house. A couple boys were sitting in the common area and they looked at the pair. Ivy shot one a death glare.

"Nothing. Or... I mean, there were just a lot more important things going on. That kind of drama was low on the list of priorities." He stumbled a little as they neared his room. "Mmmmm I need a bed."

"I'll tuck you in, sweetie. Trust me, I've put a lot of drunks to bed," she promised.

She got I'm to the bed and made him sit.

"Shoes off," she ordered gently.
