She'd wallowed around in the sad girl bullshit long enough. The new meds weren't working and she didn't fucking need them anyway. After the lab results she remembered who the fuck she was. She was amazing. She was powerful.
She was psychotic, but that was someone else's problem. Like the police. Or Batman.
She'd already taken out a crowd in the park, and brought a couple trees to sentience and gave them mouths. They were in the west end raising hell.
She had lifted herself all the way up to the garden and walked in through the doors without invitation. Hex looked up in surprise.
"Where's Klaus?" she said, her voice eerily compelling. Hex simply pointed. Vines carried her so she glided across the floor to Klaus's door and she let herself in.
"Hey, baby. Let's go have some fun," she purred. She was very clearly not herself...or, conversely, finally herself.

Date: 2021-01-04 03:57 pm (UTC)"I'm fine, babe. Never better. Got clean this week. I like me better this way."
Her voice was deeper and a bit more ethereal, as if she were speaking with every cell in her body. Vines wriggled and tined their way to Klaus and tugged at him to get him to join her.

Date: 2021-01-04 04:15 pm (UTC)Klaus couldn't claim he knew much about Ivy, but... when she said she got clean it clearly meant she got off her meds. And... in her case, that might not be the best way about it.
He smiled when vines brought him closer to her. "Well, congratulations, I guess. So... whatcha wanna do?" He asked. He was now close enough to her and he gave her a peck on the cheek.

Date: 2021-01-05 12:20 am (UTC)"There's a power plant i want to tour," she said. "If you come with me, I won't kill anyone."
Like that offer sweetened the deal.

Date: 2021-01-05 07:36 am (UTC)Klaus didn't care. Klaus famously (infamously) didn't care. But when she mentioned she would kill if he didn't come, some instinct kicked in ('protect the innocent', in his father's voice) and Klaus smiled radiantly at her. "I love a bit of sight-seeing!" he said, cheerfully and took her hand.

Date: 2021-01-05 09:24 pm (UTC)"I knew you were my guy," she said. As she spoke the vines shrank and returned to where they hid in her hair. Ivy took his hands and lead him out of the room.
"Alright, mate?" Hex asked, clearly unnerved by Ivy's power.

Date: 2021-01-05 09:51 pm (UTC)"Yeah, sure," Klaus nodded and giggled along with Ivy as they walked away.
Things were always fine with Klaus. Maybe he could find out what was wrong with her. Best way to do that was to go along. And not let her kill people.

Date: 2021-01-06 11:45 am (UTC)Ivy wasn't going to take the stairs. A vine wrapped securely around Klaus and she took him right off the edge of the balcony. There wasn't anything to be afraid of- she'd protect him at all cost.
"My car's there," she said. The sporty red number had been a decent fender bender. It looked like she hit a post.

Date: 2021-01-06 11:53 am (UTC)"Looks like you've been partying without me," Klaus teased when he saw the car.

Date: 2021-01-06 11:56 am (UTC)"I pre-gamed," she nodded. "The cops are busy in the west end. The city is mine."
There was a quality to her tone that suggested her attention wasn't in the city's best interest.

Date: 2021-01-06 06:13 pm (UTC)"What did you do?" Klaus laughed, but when she wasn't looking he eyed her more carefully. Something was off. More off than usual.

Date: 2021-01-07 01:29 am (UTC)"I was lonely so I made some friends. You wouldn't believe how pissed off trees are, all the time," she said. "Wanna go see the show?"

Date: 2021-01-07 08:46 am (UTC)"Yeah, sure!" Klaus cheered. Luther would be proud of him for stepping up to do something. But he just felt like he was betraying a friend.
He just hoped that the trees were not doing too much shit and maybe this whole thing would blow over and they could have a good laugh about it.

Date: 2021-01-07 11:30 pm (UTC)She drove through town as she saw fit, popping into different lanes, driving on the sidewalk, and got from point A to point B quickly.
The west end seemed alright, but then she turned a corner and there were four trees walking on their roots, the branches like hands, and they were busy demolishing a car.
"Babies," she smiled proudly.

Date: 2021-01-08 07:36 am (UTC)Okay, no one was actively being killed here, but... it was dangerous. "Why don't we go steal some clothes instead?" He suggested carefully.

Date: 2021-01-08 11:35 am (UTC)"I'm done doing petty shit, Klaus. People need to pay for their destruction and greed," she said coldly.

Date: 2021-01-08 11:40 am (UTC)It was difficult to keep the worry from his face. "Pay... how?" he asked, voice suddenly quite small.

Date: 2021-01-08 11:00 pm (UTC)"Let's start with artificial light," she said and vines erupted from her and lifted her in the air. Plants lining the street grew wildly and choked down light poles and shattered bulbs But the vines at Ivy's feet tore into the main line of the electric system.
Everything went dark.

Date: 2021-01-09 10:16 am (UTC)"Ivy..." Klaus tried. "This is dangerous. It's a city. Let's go to the botanic gardens!" Still cheerful. Still hoping he could make her see sense.
Was this what Ivy was like off her meds?

Date: 2021-01-09 10:49 am (UTC)Nearby, a car crashed into another. Only headlights illuminated anything.
"You don't think this is fun?" Ivy asked as vines grabbed the car and tossed it like a toy into the middle of an intersection.

Date: 2021-01-09 11:05 am (UTC)"There are people in that car, Ivy," Klaus insisted. He felt his hands burning. But he didn't want to hurt the best friend he had.

Date: 2021-01-09 11:07 am (UTC)"They're not dead," she scoffed as destruction rained down.
She was wrong, though. The two who had been in the car were absolutely dead and hanging out looking at the wreck.

Date: 2021-01-09 12:49 pm (UTC)Blue light began coming from Klaus' hands. People were dying and something kicked in. Stupid Academy instincts probably.
The souls of the two people Ivy just killed walked over, easily passing through vines and the chaos on the streets. Klaus had created them, but they were more than happy to help and rushed over to Ivy.
"Ivy, you have to stop," Klaus insisted as the ghosts closed in.

Date: 2021-01-09 12:51 pm (UTC)"Don't you dare," she said in a dark, dangerous voice that smelled like a corpse.
And yet, her vines came nowhere near him.

Date: 2021-01-09 01:09 pm (UTC)He didn't have to say anything. The ghosts understood his command. The lunged forward and grabbed Ivy.
But... Klaus didn't want to hurt her. He didn't know what to do. But she was strong and he didn't think the ghosts would hod her long.
He grabbed his phone. He had to call someone. And not the useless cops.
